As in recent years, South Africa Bred Racehorses have excellent performance with well record up to international standard in Hong Kong races, most Hong Kong buyers therefore favoured in purchasing South Africa racehorses such as “Asia Rising”, “Sambuca”, “Arabian Wager” and “King of Spades” in early years and “Tiger Prawn”, “Just Right”, “Value Choice”, “Fearless”, “Goody”, “Gunner Mac”, “Noble Silence”, “Supremacy”, “Limoncello”, “Top Stitch”, “Golden Care”, “Wei Hai Invincible” and “Hit Song”currently racing in Hong Kong.

Over the past years, I have been instrumental in sourcing, purchasing and shipping many horses and yearlings for Ms. Karen Chow, Mr. Hong Chow and Mr. Robert Chung.  Among these horses, “Arabian Wager” and “Tiger Prawn” have performed extraordinarily and achieved great success.  “Arabian Wager” got first second in his debut run in Hong Kong in 2003 and was only beaten a short-head by the useful “Country Music” and follwed this up with four wins, one second and one third within the two racing seasons.

King of Spades”, just retired last month, had participated 98 races during the period from year 2003 to 2008.  His performance is well steady, broke a new record of 1 minute 21.6 seconds in 1400m class 5 race and won three times in the last racing season before retirement.

Tiger Prawn”, currently racing in Hong Kong, has achieved four consecutive wins in the first season of 2006 and also broke a new record of 1 minute 8.7 seconds in 1000m short race in Happy Valley winning “The Po Leung Kuk Centenary Cup” on 6 November 2007.  Up to this moment, “Tiger Prawn”, the 6 time winner, has gained over 3 million Hong Kong dollars for his master.
